Trump wall or Oak park, Il cul-de-sacs?

I was in a store over on Harlem and Lake and I overheard two ladies talking about how Trump is going to build a wall and how racist he is, now I do not care where you are in this debate the last thing you want if you are against such a wall is to get the help of hypocrites from Oak Park, IL on your side to help. Hypocrites? Yes, since 1964 to about 1977 Oak Park, IL built cul-de-sacs as a means to limit the traffic from a growing black population in the Austin area, which Oak Park, IL shares a border with. With arguments of stemming crime and undesirables the cul-de-sacs were built to mystically stop criminals from coming into Oak Park, IL does that sound familiar?

Exactly! So to hear anyone from Oak Park, Il to bitch about Trump’s wall or how racist he is, with these cul-de-sacs still in place is just ridiculous. A cul-de-sac does not stop robberies, murders and rapes look at the crime statistics for this area plus there are articles stating how ineffective cul-de-sacs are to stopping crime citing the Oak Park, IL cul-de-sacs as an example! Ugh what is the old saying? “People who live in glass houses should not throw stones..”?

How about before you are butt hurt about how racist someone else is, you look around you to make sure that your own actions do not exhibit such racist. Why? Because actions speak louder than words. Trump could never build a wall, saying it costs too much, then what? There will still be the Oak park, IL cul-de-sacs on Austin. What if Trump gets his way and does build a wall? There will still be the Oak park, IL cul-de-sacs on Austin. The point is while these Oak park, IL cul-de-sacs on Austin still exist, no one from Oak Park, IL especially from the time of their origin, should bitch about building walls and how racist people are. Just look in a mirror then take a drive down Austin Ave, and you will see an example of Oak Park, IL’s own type of wall, right here in “paradise”.

Oak Park, IL makes one’s soul hurt.

So on Saturday I was with Sarah (the one who stepped in dog shit in a different blog post) and I wanted to take her to Q-BBQ in downtown Oak Park, IL near Lake and Harlem for her birthday. But She lamented because of the traffic, the tight area and how people are generally ignorant about stepping up upon you and in your face. She stated that: “Going through Oak park, makes my soul hurt…”

I literally laughed my at least 3 minutes. It was the funniest line I ever heard about or to describe Oak Park, IL. Anyway, we grabbed some Chinese food on the outskirts of Oak Park, IL in Berwyn, IL instead, I rather see my dollars go to an area that does something for their residents instead of trying to strong-arm them and their tax dollars to pay for some stupid shit (aka the pool).

Yes Ha! Going through Oak Park, IL or even thinking about it makes my soul hurt too, Sarah, yeah me too.

Oak Park, IL OPRFHS Sexual assault pt 2

Since there is no help coming from the Oak Park police department who marginalized a reported sexual assault that happened back in August, tired of the runaround one of the students got active and posted a petition on Change.org to address the issue. This just brings to light more allegations of sexual misconduct which who knows if they have been addressed by The Oak Park Police Department, as with my case with my crazy neighbor. It seems that the OPPD do not take such things seriously, maybe the petition on Change.org will bring create an atmosphere of professionalism from the Oak Park Police Department. Because seriously kids raping kids is just terrible and even if there is an allegation no matter how slim there should be some time of increased attention to this issue.

Even the local “newspapers” her raise questions about the creation of a rape culture at the high school, and as with any resident in Oak Park, Il it makes one wonder how long has this been going on? If we know that there were at least “several” other offenders involved with this allegation why are they still allowed to go to school with other potential victims? With the other allegations, what has happened with those offenders are they still involved with Oak Park River Forest High School?

Also if the school is waiting for the Police Department to complete their investigation how are they handling the integration of these offenders into the general student population at the school? What new methods or procedures is the school going to put into place to protect future victims of sexual assault in the future? It seems to me that both entities (OPPD and OPRFHS) are to blame in keeping this culture continuing, not to mention the offenders involved. And the kids are only going to follow the direction of the grownups and those who are in charge and deliver out the consequences of their actions if there are no immediate consequences then why should they worry or change? So if Oak Park, Il is interested in creating a bunch of rapists they are doing a good job! Ha! Oak Park, IL created cul da secs decades ago because they feared the crime from the Austin area spilling into their little community, probably because they wanted to create a culture of veil on their own!

The Fenwick High School lawsuit from Oak Park, IL

No matter what side of the debate you are on in regards to the Fenwick high school law suit you have to starch your head and wonder why this loss to Plainfield over a botched call is going to court. On the news, the parents say these kids deserve to be there, nice like the Plainfield kids or any other team that lost in the playoffs deserved to be there. Just Fenwick.

This is, of course, the message, the lesson they are teaching these kids, not only in Fenwick’s community but Plainfield and every other high school they will play the next season. “Watch out for Fenwick they don’t like the call they will sue!” Now, at this point is that what they deserve? Maybe, because they opened the floodgates and gave everyone and their mother the opportunity, the reason to do so. There are other questions that arise because of this lawsuit, probably ones Fenwick did not think of.

*What does it say when Overzealous parents sue for botched calls in a game?

*What if next season every team that Fenwick play and wins over, sues over any self-perceived violation they think is wrong?

*How does this change the meaning of sportsmanship then?

*How does this show these kids “The American Way” of fighting the good fight when you have been wrong?

*Does the Plainfield team have the right to countersue for defaming their character as a team?

*Do the referees in the game sue Fenwick for defaming their character and judgment on the field?

*How does this embolden the kids on Fenway’s football team when they do not agree to the calls made during future games?

*Did any of the people involved in this lawsuit think of any of these questions?

*Did any of the people involved in this lawsuit think of how it shows the depth (or lack of) their moral character, the Fenwick community or even Oak Park, Il to the world?

*If they lose their lawsuit, or win it, are they ready for all the “crybaby” taunts they will receive in the future?

No, because they think they are better here in Oak Park, Il than anyone else, anywhere else, and if life isn’t fair they should sue so it can be fair, for them. Only them, because they unlike the rest of us, deserve it.

Vote No to 200 Oak Park, IL got it right!

I did not hear anything about the Vote 200 crap I talked about in two of my past posts so I had to search on Google for the news. OMG my vote counted!

No I don’t give a flaming shit about the Presidency I am talking about saying no to that damn pool and vote 200 shit that Oak Park, IL was trying to push down taxpaying throats. Oh it was so close, such bullshit. The Vote Yes D200 Referendum Committee should have not crossed the line with such heavy handed tactics the fliers the signs it was a bit much, I think I saw less banners in clips of Nazi Germany than the signs around Oak Park and River Forest High School for example.

The winners, the opposition hopefully will not rest and watch these sneaky, sneaky snakes on the School Board so that they are not wasting funds that can go into something more beneficial for the ENTIRE community not just a small handful of individuals. Ah I am so happy I think the next time I step in dog shit, in my building courtyard (thanks Greenplan) I will not be as upset! I am going to drink like a fish tonight!

Oh and Trump won, I figured that would happen with the number of Oak Park, Il residents posting signs from Hillary, especially my favorite bitchy neighbor down the street. With that kind of support there was almost some type of voodoo railed against her.

Eh I voted Johnson wonder what Sarah Silverman thinks about that? She would probably say “grow up” yeah I did and how do ya like that? I wonder how my favorite bitchy neighbor feels about her fucking parking spot now?

I don’t care to ask I just hope she gets the chance to Suck Trump’s old ding dong. There has been such a hit to the liberalism here in Oak Park, IL it is almost like they are shell shocked. It was like that Saturday Night Love with Dave Chappelle in which these idiots are still trying to do the math or figure out how they sue someone so that Hillary can be President!

More Dog Shit on the sidewalk, leading up to the Apartment in Oak Park, IL

OMG its getting colder out and I am getting drunker because of the Cubs and the holiday season Woooooooo! Yea! So I am walking up the courtyard, up the sidewalk of my apartment complex enjoying life, being happy, doing the positive stuff! Thennnnnnnnnnn, of course Oak park, IL brings you back down, the littlest thing has a huge impact around here because this little dirty ass village does not let you rest. The impact is like the huge asteroid that killed the dinosaurs type of impact, with a little DOG SHIT all over the middle of the sidewalk to the point I have to walk in the grass where guess what? Where my fucking lazy ass dog owning neighbors let their dogs do their business, and DO NOT clean it up!

Neither does the property manager or any one doing any type of building maintenance for Greenplan management. Now not every dog owner is lazy, but the old lady upstairs for example, just lets her dog bounce around all day (as I found out on my one day off) for exercise then lets it shit and piss in the alley near one of my building’s back entrances. Rats food galore!

It is my belief that this is not is her dog, but this is the only entrance I can enter this building without the fear of being attacked by rodents! I was nearly attacked by raccoons when taking the garbage once. Therefore, my interest in keeping the area around the entrances clean is very personal, I even took pictures of how disgusting the situation was with the dog shit, in, the middle, of the sidewalk. It really gives responsible dog owners a bad name, and will probably give the management company a reason to raise the fees to have dog in these apartments. But oh well, you cannot fix stupid, nasty, or even fucking lazy.

Why you need an Oak Park Park District booklet in Oak Park, IL

I cannot remember how I did but I grabbed an Oak Park Fall 2016 Park District booklet which tells you about different pain in the ass events that are occurring in the area, because Oak Park, IL just prints the booklets and hopefully you can just pick one up or run after them to find out what the hell is going on around the village.

Unlike most places, like Chicago, or even Berwyn, there are no signs posted before the event happens in the location it will occur in, no mention of these events in local news reports, or even monthly mailers that say hey “remember!” Oak Park, IL likes to keep people either renting, travelling through, or visiting to be surprised by the sudden shit that happens here. And you know Google maps does not figure the increased traffic that may occur in the areas by Barrie Fest or the Great Pumpkin Smash beforehand if you are looking up directions ahead of time, nor is there anything that really gives you the heads up you just have to know basically.

Plus, since Oak Park has a lot of parks in their borders it means that anything that the Park District does in the way of events will cause a traffic nightmare wherever that event in the park happens. Of course, that makes the inclusive bullshit stance that Oak Park, IL supposedly brags about a lie, because such close to the vest non-information shit tactics they pull is more in line with a gated community.

Whatever, so long as these idiots do not get in my way or mess with my parking situation even more than they usually, I have no problem with their stupid fests, because I spend the majority of my dollars …elsewhere. Peace.

Vote D200 Yes to OPRFHS Referendum: I was sent another fucking card!

Okay, now we are really pushing it. The fact of the matter is that OPRFHS is a pain in my ass, I received yet ANOTHER card about that stupid pool referendum Vote D200 Yes my ass. You know this being an election year we are continuously being bombarded about political messages so it is enough to hear all that shit (no matter how you vote) but to have some bureaucratic agency adding to it is just some sour shit. Do they think by sending some bs about their frivolous project will help garner votes?

Honestly looking at the card all they state as winners are the students, THEN the OP-RF residents, HA! Basically putting the taxpaying residents second, in other words, thank God I rent so I do not have to foot the bill for this shit. But hey I do vote and I do not appreciate such badgering, you do not steamroll someone into voting your way. All that breeds is resentment and then when election time comes up for local government positions in Oak Park, IL, those pissed off residents who still harbor that resentment will vote upon that convictions. Hopefully to appoint new Board members and not have things like this happen again.

A few points:

• When you state “don’t be fooled” and state your points, unless you are a blogger like myself you want to word your points as if you are stating facts not opinion. Meaning “Actual pool cost is $21.m (Not “37.3m”) attitude much? Having an attitude does not win me over, ugly is just ugly, and I vote against it all the time.
• The whole card or message is trying to frame this “us” mentality after they already went ahead and voted to try to move ahead with the project they wanted. It is on the ballot because the residents do not want it in the first place. The board did this on their own now they suffer for it.
• Have you ever heard of an extensive street resurfacing project being voted on by residents, no? Exactly because something like that is necessary, this project is not. How will this benefit the taxpaying residents there is no mention or details if you have time to make two different flyers and send them out before the before the vote you have enough time to specifically state the benefits.
• This card reveals a Freudian slip in the order they state the “winners” of this project by putting the TAXPAYERS, the resident last, they should have been first. In fact, if you are trying to win funding from someone in the real world you tell that group how it would benefit the community and/or the patrons, not how it would benefit you. Ask any kid their weight in gold when they are asking for a new car. The ones that are successful bring up how they will be less of a burden to their parents, there is no mention of benefits to them. The ones that are not successful are the ones stating how they are going cruising to hookup, pick up their friends to get high or go to underage parties that no parents are involved and there are tons of alcohol. Which is basically what this group is doing.
• Quotation marks used throughout the whole presentation of the facts, just shows the level of frustration that is underlining this group’s efforts. I am kind of surprised this is coming from representatives of an educational institution but then again I am not.

I can vote in Oak Park, Il and I rent so this taxing really does not mean shit to me HAHA but I will vote no, so this group win or lose can suck it. Oh one more point they state the actual pool cost is 21.4millon, but in today’s day and age have you ever heard of any construction project coming in at or under the proposed budget? Yeah very rarely, and I doubt this project will be at just 21.4 million but I am not worried I am not paying for it.
