Oak Park, Il blog related: WordPress acting crazy??

Okay, what the hell? So, I read a blog post bout another writer that I follow who stated in one of their posts “WordPress shut down” which left me wondering. Mainly because the blog is like academic and I read it to help me with my school projects, you know free tips and downloads stuff like that. I “pm” him (private message) on fb asking what he meant about that. And he responded that WordPress shut DOWN his blog because the stated the automatic filtering program decided he had infringed on the terms of service.

Being an academic blog it made me wonder why it would do that? But the answer he gave me when he asked the same question was that WordPress could not tell him what happened in detail and what he could do in the future to prevent it! Then told him to just post “original content to ensure that a similar block does not happen again in the future”

Hence my question is: if he got the blog back up and the filter made a mistake, then whose fault is it really? How can WordPress trust the filtering system if it is making mistakes this? Who would put money into establishing a WordPress site or blog if it can all get taken away from you by a faulty program? If I was in school this blog being down would screw with my world, so what if he was an affiliate with a highly successful blog, would Word Press compensate him for the money lost by the site shut down?

All this makes me glad that I am not only on Word press but Google/Blogger. This dude is too but has told me he will “dump” all the articles he has written onto a Wix or Weebly site too. To ensure that if WordPress gets crazy once again the blog “lives” on. I was thinking of the same thing just take all my writings and dump it all at once on a Wix or Weebly account to further piss off the masses.

In any case, this is just FYI for all of you that have an account with WordPress, back that shit up on a Microsoft Word or text document so all the work you do on the internet is not lost forever to a stupid ass computer program and pure laziness.

Thanks Oak Park, IL my new heels are covered in Dog shit

Okay usually as a writer I have something to “say” or write about, and this shithole Oak Park, IL is usually the bane of my existence so I write about that. However, do you know what I have been doing the last three days? Cleaning. Dog. Shit. Off my yellow Seychelles heels, I got from DSW four months ago! DOG SHIT!

I know what you are thinking:

Was she drunk as hell and just walked straight into a pile of shit, the lush?

Was she out late at night, dressing provocatively and this is the Universe telling her “don’t be out at night” type of thing?

Was she out late at night, and probably needs glasses because she did see that big pile of steamy shit, the dumb bitch??

The Answer is no to all that shit.

In fact, it was around 5:30 pm-ish when I came home I was just not paying attention. I know that is one of my golden rules when living in Oak Park, IL: do not let your guard down, pay attention. Well, I was on the phone with Sarah and talking about the weekend when I walked into a fresh pile of dog shit on the sidewalk. And obviously, it was a big dog or a human being who decided take a dump on the side of the main sidewalk in front of my building on Harvey. And either the owner did not clean up because they were too fucking lazy, or the latter I was just dealing with a disgusting human being who thought it was funny to take a shit. Right there. In front. Of the building.

If you know the type of shoes I am talking about you will realize I knew immediately I stepped in a fresh pile of shit. You know OPEN TOE heels it was so nasty I had to go immediately to the basement and wash not only my heel off but foot as well. It was so fucking nasty. I cried because I just started to wear these heels out and they complimented a bunch of outfits.

I had to use bleach, tomato sauce and three types of soap on my foot because it stunk like shit and this was on Monday so it was not like I had the weekend to get the smell out! Then my shoes I had to wash dry then wash again multiple times, I wiped it down with antibacterial wipes and then some lemon juice. After two days of airing out I think I can wear them but now I got like PSTD from this event that every time I look at them I think of stepping in squishy dog shit. Thanks, Oak Park, IL thanks.

Kathy Griffith’s Trump incident is indicative of Oak Park, Il

Now I am not left or right, just in the middle of all that politics shit. First, I did not like when people talk violent shit towards Obama and I did not agree with that dude on everything. I have the same standard for Trump even though I do not agree with him on everything either. So, when Ms. Griffith, an Oak Park, IL native came out with her little “stunt” with a beheaded man’s head that looked like Trump I simply pressed the “ignore” button again on this bitch, because it is simply classless and crass. Even though I can be both of those adjectives I do hold the line there in that type or any discourse.

However, when I saw crazy bitch on the news crying that the rest of the Trump’s family was talking shit towards her and that her career was effectively over I was like “No Shit what did she expect?” But she cried about her age and this “woe is me” shit then broke down even further when she heard her buddy Anderson Cooper said her photo shoot was “disgusting” I could only think “Yup she is from Oak Park, Il!”

Just like the lady who came up to me and asked if I could move my care from in front of her house, that to remind you I had a parking permit TO PARK there, nevertheless, her entitled ignorant ass shone through. As if she said nothing wrong and that she was entitled to say whatever she felt. With ignorance abound nowadays we are as Americans can say what the hell it is on our minds but to that extreme as with Ms. Griffith seems to be the average attitude of those in Oak Park, IL. Pissing off people they barely know and viciously in some self-absorbed manner! Then wonder why people fight back in the case of Trump or in the form of a blog like this one….

Here is an article talking about the crazy bitch crying and whatever…

Free Comic Book day in Oak Park, IL …fucking yuppies

So I goes to enjoy free comic book day with the nephew this past Saturday, and take him to the local spot in Oak Park, Il probably one of the better places in the City: One Stop Comics. The main guy there, Rick helped me once when I was trying to figure out what to buy my nephew who loves the Avengers’ and Captain America movies. Plus, I am always trying to make sure he reads a lot so that he does not become another statistic who cannot read jack.

Judging by the foot traffic on free comic book day this is a big day for the store and they offer one free book per customer, then two free books if you buy something and three free books if you buy over $20. I love getting something “free” however I am not one of those people who does not know marketing and economics the books must come at a cost to the store and as a local I want to make sure I do my part and buy $20 plus of books to not only get the maximum of free books but support a local business.

I know, where is the bitching about anything or something? The problem was, of course, the yuppie ass parent who just came into the business to get a free comic book and leave. Yup, saw it myself, as we were trying to get to the free book display, there was a crowd of parents simply standing there, talking. Just motherfucking talking. Not getting a book and then finding some additional items to accompany the free gift this store was giving away, not trying to spend a couple of bucks to keep this business open for the next free comic book day.

Just standing there in the fucking way, I literally had to get in the personal space of three different parents like they dropped the soap in prison to have them acknowledge they were in the way! “sorry!” Come on you know this is not the place to have a PTA meeting take that to Starbucks, and leave the free comic books for the people who love comic books like my nephew and put a couple bucks into the local businesses in the village. What burns my ass, even more, is that these are the same people who will whine that there are no small businesses in the area and all the big box, big chain companies are taking over and changing the aesthetics and culture of this village. Well, how are small businesses supposed to exist if you only take from these businesses and do not put the dollars back into the community and businesses like this one? Anyway, Free Comic book day is great so go to a local comic book store and get a free book for the kids or yourself but then spend a couple of dollars so they stay open and can stay a fixture in the community.

Crime in River Forest and Oak Park, IL

Ah so there has been an uptick in crime in River Forest the area that is usually not touched by crime as Oak Park, Il usually is but now is getting the brunt of its isolationist policies. Both suburbs are linked together in more ways than one, and unfortunately, both are bordered heavily by poor black areas. Oak Park, Il has the Chicago Austin area and River Forest has the suburb of Maywood, I mean if I was on a board of trustees or governing body I would try to reach to these areas to see what I could do to bring some economic development to these areas so hopefully it would attract investment back into these communities and reduce crime.

But noooooo, Oak Park hides behind cula-da-sacs and River Forest hides behind a huge network of Forest Preserves as if criminals wouldn’t run through a forest, obviously, the city planners never watch a Friday the 13th film before. As the crimes are more economic based than run of the mill crazy violence. Therefore, it must be determined what are the motivators behind the criminal’s actions and there is nothing more motivating than living across the street from a bunch of self-delusional shmucks who think an address guarantees safety.

I thank god am not one of those people and I am paranoid, as the good people of Oak Park, Il like to call it, 24/7 but at least I still have all my shit. So until these burbs take the reasonable approach and help build up the communities around them the problem will always exist and problems like these will always get worse.

Burglaries in River Forest rose in this article:

New signs for Oak Park, Il to make things even more confusing.

Oh so Oak park, Il will get new signs to confuse people about parking her in Oak Park even more, isn’t there enough confusion as it is? You have people with Master’s degrees getting fucking confused trying to understand the current signage that is in place presently, if the new “test” signage is any indication the new signage will create even more problems.

This is the article showcasing the new signage “proposed” (meaning already approved by Oak Park, IL’s corrupt board of trustees): http://www.chicagotribune.com/suburbs/oak-park/news/ct-oak-parking-sign-pilot-tl-0323-20170317-story.html

This sign is just confusing and gives me a headache by just looking at it. It looks like a color key for either playing the new NBA Live for PS4 or a new Grand Theft Auto world map, yeah I used a Grand theft Auto reference, have you ever drive in Oak Park, IL? It makes you want to pick up a hooker, run over a couple slow ass pedestrians and start fights with smartass punks on the Chicago side while riding back over the fake boundary between Oak Park, IL and the Austin Area.

This new signage bullshit is just another reason to go all GTA on everyone. This will not consolidate signage around Oak Park it is another reason for Oak park, IL’s village board to spend money it does not have and another reason to tax the shit out of the property owners. Oh yeah, but I rent, only dog I have in this fight is the confusion I will have from trying to park around here.  To me this is another reason that Oak Park, Il is going straight to hell in regards to its reputation as a “nice” place to live.

PS: I tell everyone I meet and who will listen why not to move here and I have about 32 “converts” (yes I am keeping count) so far. Totally awesome!

Laundry in Oak PArk, IL

Arrrghh So I did my wash and I dried it brought it upstairs from the laundry area downstairs to fold and what is all over it? Fucking dog hair!!!! And I do not even own a dog! Now, I know it’s a public laundry area but man you would think these residents would have some decency to not wash whole dog beds or dog pillows in the regular washing machines with regular clothes. Some people like to go to work looking professional, and not having to worry about dog hair flying off their clothes into the air, in front of bosses, clients or fellow co-workers.

Now I have to use a lint brush and sit here and spend an hour getting all the dog hair out of my clothes when I do not even own a dog to necessitate that I should spend time out of my day to do this! This is one of the reasons I do not have animals so I do not have to do extra measures for cleaning my apartment or my clothes. I have owned dogs before and I have been very cautious and thoughtful of others when walking my dog and cleaning such things as a dog bed (HAND WASH BITCH!). But never have I ever had to deal with such callous disregard for one’s neighbors, what If I was deadly allergic to dog hair and dandruff? Oh, that’s my problem right? Oh but if someone sues these fucking dog owners and the building management because of allergic reaction they are the bad person here? Fuck that.

That’s why I will every time I step in their dog’ nasty dog shit I will wash the shows in the washer machines so they can get the full effect of what their sloppy, lazy ass owning of their dog entails and how it really affects others. Oh and complaining to management that does dick, they cannot even handle simple common sense security concerns let alone do something about this type of nasty ass behavior. Fucking nasty ass people. Really.

This is a link for those of you who face the same shit I do with ignorant fucking dog owners: http://cleanmyspace.com/pet-hair/

Personal belongings are always in front of Fire Exits In Oak Park, IL

Okay how stupid is it when your management company has to send out email reminders that your neighbors should not place their junk in public areas that act as emergency exits during building fires and such, I mean really?

You would think this would be second nature, or people would have common sense but not in my building, The building management Green plan management always sends out the same generic message every time: “Please remove any personal belongings that are stored in the front and back stairwells. There are to be no personal belongings stored in the common areas…

How about sending the lazy ass building maintenance guys to just throw the shit out? On the other hand, they could confiscate it and leave a message stating that the item is in storage and charge the fools everyday like $25 for each day it’s there. Maybe if you know who did charge their asses the fee the village of Oak Park would, i.e. the ticket or citation amount that the village would write the management company for having residents block these exit/entrance ways?

All these special idiots get is a crappy, unprofessionally email from the highly unqualified building management representative, who blandly tells my neighbors not to keep their shit out there. I bet if this was my ass (which is not!) they would just throw my recently sanded furniture (hint hint) out in the garbage, but no just this limp dick email. Bich Plz.

Travelling around Oak Park, IL

The construction around Oak Park, Il is annoying including the fact just recently they were cutting trees just before the Christmas holiday, I mean right before. Like on the 21st to the 23rd there were crews on Harlem avenue of all places cutting down trees you know with people trying to do last minute shopping or on their way to go out of town for vacation. And the already small narrow expanse of Harlem going north (two lanes) was cut down to one.

This made it very interesting when travelling around on the lunch break, of course, I was on my way to either go to Wing stop or the Thai place next to it, so I knew getting back would be a mess and I was right, only Oak park, Il would have the least amount of warning regarding this work, and plan to do so, so close to the holiday.

I wonder if any of you had to go through this traffic nightmare on Harlem avenue at this time. It seems like Oak Park, Il never gets its village improvements quite right, and construction can last for months (i.e. Chicago Avenue) or a few really inconvenient days like this project.

Does anyone else have these issues traveling through Oak Park, IL even on the outskirts???

Happy Hanukkah Oak Park, IL

Good day to all! Happy Hanukkah!

This Holiday even though it is well known to people of other religions is not really recognized in Oak Park, Il either which pretty much is indicated of Oak Park, IL. So not being Oak Park, IL born and bred, I wanted to throw this shout out to my peeps of the Jewish faith in Oak Park, Il and everywhere else.

Hanukkah again is not a federal holiday in United States however today will be celebrated with traditional songs and Gift-giving as today starts 25th day of the month called Kislev of the Jewish calendar year. I have actually given coworkers at the job who are the Jewish faith dreidels as part of interfaith acknowledgment I will be surprised to see such gestures in Oak Park, Il by any entity that does not have religious affiliation, but again what do you expect living in Oak Park, Il where they are supposedly “diverse”-ha!

Anyway peeps Happy Hanukkah!
