Thank God for Winter it stops the Neighbor from sanding furniture downstairs in Oak Park, IL

I am glad it’s winter because I can have some peace and quiet from my neighbor Meg always sanding her furniture like she is on an episode of this old House with Bob Vila (remember that show?) n the back area where the garbage cans are at the /entrance way to the laundry area and where some people park their cars without any village stickers. Wait I am in an apartment complex right? You ask. Yes, I am so it’s not like it’s her property to go and make a mess sanding furniture and leaving sawdust everywhere e for all to walk in and track back into their apartments. Nor is it her right to block all the majority of the recycling cans by placing her furniture or work area right in front of them. Nor is it her sidewalk to stain or leave wood stain on the ground, basically in the form of an outline of the furniture she painted with said stain.

Yes, with total disregard for anyone there was shit left everywhere and she did not attempt to clean it up! I came home from lunch a couple days in a row I would say basically 8 days in a two-week period and was beset by her sanding! There was not peace and quiet escape from the job on my Lunches there was Meg sanding from what I gathered was early morning to 7 pm at night, basically whenever it got dark.

Now I have to hand it to her work ethic but god damn on two days I took off in that same time period the sanding last from at least 8:30 am to 7:30 pm. That is simply ridiculous unless you have a permit and were actually remodeling something officially and were licensed but this crazy ass is renting an apartment in our building like me!

Here I cannot play my music loud without someone trying to come down and talk shit and the management (Green Plan) backing it up by talking crazy but this straight up privileged chick with the sweaters on her shoulders, upper crust yuppie was just going buck wild outside making noise and destroying the property and, nothing, was, said! That is why I am glad winter is here because that stops all that fucking ignorant behavior (can’t stain in wet winter bitch!) and gives me some opportunities to peace and quiet!

Now if the stupid old cunt and her creepy son can stop playing with their 50 lb. dog at 10 pm at night I would finally be able to enjoy this apartment… oh I almost forgot about the dog shit, so scratch “enjoy” from my previous sentence. Fucking Oak Park, IL is filled with a bunch of crazy bitches young and old that are determined to make this village worse that it usually is.

Oh, I had my friend go downstairs and make a little video of her sanding outside in the back of the apartment I put it on YouTube to save space on the blog account, just click on the hyperlink to hear how loud this shit is! Crazy fucking bitch.

Here is the video on YouTube.com: https://youtu.be/3RpGCAODEOs

I Voted! HAHA NO to the stupid OPRFHS Pool!!!!

I took time out upon this very special election day to vote my conscience, and my hatred for badgering mailers, and decided to vote for the best route I believe for the village of Oak park. I voted no to their stupid pool because the village still did not illustrate the benefits of the poll to me, whether it was in the short term or the long term.

If you are paying for something you want to know what you are paying for, and how it benefits YOU in the short and long runs. No talk about new jobs or new businesses or tax breaks just pay more money on your property taxes, which thank GOD I do not own any here in this seedy little village.

Well, I am off to throw my sticker in the garbage and go about my everyday life, because after today America gets not want it needs or wants… it gets what it deserves!

I found this fun clip on how one family is protecting their freedom of speech:

Either aisle of the political spectrum you are on its hilarious!

The reason why crime does not touch Oak Park, Il

Recently I read a Commentary article called: “I never worry I’ll be shot in Chicago. After all, I’m white” it to me seems that this is the attitude of most non-minority residents here in Oak Park, Il the idea that bad things do not happen in Oak Park, Il stems from attitudes like this. The problem is with this type of foolish it is rationalized, then spreads through the retelling of those “facts” the belief that the law enforcement department is omniscient and everywhere to stop the majority of crime. The so called deterrent to all the bad in the world however foolish as that thought is to those who live in the reality of the real world.

I mean when is the last time di done hear about a violent shooting in Oak Park, IL? When asking that question which the answer is no, we reaffirm the belief that the type of thing does not happen here. Why? Because we let “select” people into the village, we ferret out the “bad’ elements or we racially steer towards Austin avenue so they are closer to Chicago. The problem of segregation in Chicago is the reason why the area has the problems with crime today. The lack of sharing of resources and gentrification the entire city overall is now causing a backlash that has only increased the violent atmosphere we did not enjoy now. Now these were due to policies that were in place for decades since the founding of the city, one can hope that with the new opening of a Whole Foods in the Englewood area, the expansion of the Red line CTA even further south than just 95th street we are finally starting to see that spreading of resources.

Unfortunately, as Chicago is making some headway to reverse some of the idiotic policies of reintegrated America, Oak Park, IL is still enforcing these policies with the simple enforcement of its mindset. I have written about residents simply walking up to me and telling me to move my car in a predesigned (and paid) area for parking, to ease their ascetic values. The belief that she and others like her believe they are protected from all unpleasantries merely due to the color of her skin is just more of the same.

The thought that Oak Park, Il is safe because they certain elements have been excluded is automatically an example of such racism and self-indulgence that will doom Oak Park, IL to one day face the problem Chicago is facing now no matter if they like it or not. Believing that you are better than others does not mean that you are, it just means you do not see your mugger until they are two feet away and up your ass.

Just saying NO to the Mailing for the Vote yes Referendum Card I was sent

Oh so I got home and checked my mail and got one of these Vote Yes on 200 the Oak Park River Forest High School Referendum telling me about the Tax cost per Household (annual Property tax Bill) and how it will greatly impact the students of OPRFHS plus the benefits that THEY, the students will reap. Geez, glad I rent over in this bitch and do not own property, I mean it seems like a small group of government or legislative idiots pushing through a measure that will cost the majority of residents a huge ton of cash, in which only a few select individuals will be able to use.

I wonder will residents be able to show their tax bill and use the pool if they want? I mean they will have at least a couple grand invested into this thing by the time it’s done right? Oh it also expands areas for the Performing Arts, which is usually for any school is first set of programs they eliminated if there are budget holes LOL! Does every resident get a free ticket for a concert since they are being forced to pay for the pool? I mean it’s like Windows 10 where Microsoft tried to stuff it down every PC owners that only to have it be rejected by the vast majority of users. Here in Oak Park, Il you have the majority of residents REJECTING the idea of this expensive ass pool.

Probably because like me they do not see the need for the extra expense is needed, nor do they think the extra add-on is necessary there is not a convincing argument for the majority of the residents to add on an extra line cost to their already tightened and taxed household budgets. How about they do not have any kids that go to the school? Maybe they have pets instead of kids, because they do not want any because they do not want the extra expense, or maybe these residents cannot have any? Thanks OPRFHS for pushing this agenda on these groups of residents. How about those residents that are single or maybe even elderly and/or their kids are in college now so they see no need to keep assisting OPRFHS anymore?

I mean doesn’t enough of our taxes go to schools and it seems there are still issues of funding? I think that statement is reflective of most, not all, of the school districts in the Chicagoland area. But to have a school board that just wants to tax the residents for frivolous expenses for things the majority of the residents do not believe is necessary is why I got this stupid card. I mean I did not get a card from the vote NO to 200 group at all you know what that means? It means that the support is there, to vote NO, not to vote YES In other words, it is like when you go over your friend’s house and their little dog runs up to you as you come into the door and starts humping your leg savagely. It’s gross and annoying, just leave me alone.

24 hour Parking stickers in Oak Park, IL

One of the biggest problems in Oak Park, Il is of course parking. Second to that then is getting the sticker for your car in person, and do not do what I did and try to fall for their pure bullshit campaign of attempting to get the coveted: 24-hour-park-anywhere-in-your-zone sticker! I did once and what a fool was I! The line reached out the door of the municipal/village building, and I was there at 6am in the morning trying to get the elusive 24-hour sticker. Again this is Oak Park, IL spreading the illusion of a sticker that normal residents cannot get. In fact, my neighbor works for the village and he has a 24 sticker on his car, I have also noticed a few people with 24-hour stickers wearing clothes that have an Oak Park departmental logo on them. Meaning, they, the owners of the vehicles with the 24-hour stickers, work for the village so employees get first come no one served??

At this point like any sane person, I am trying to get the hell away from such craziness and away from here if I can. Hopefully, I am wrong and some residents who do not work for the village or have no relatives that do actually get this elusive sticker but everywhere I drive I see automobiles with either a “Night” sticker or a “Day” sticker (or even both) that’s it, making this 24-hour sticker very unique.

Why would the village even sell these stickers when it goes against some of the parking rules in certain areas? When it puts a spotlight on the stupidity of having the streets clear but for one or two cars at night?

When I paid for my sticker the cashier made a joke that “Oak Park is known as No Park, but that’s not true…” I am starting to think she was lying to me! Because if the lack of these 24-hour stickers are an indication of anything it just emphasizes the lack of common sense for zoning, and parking restrictions in Oak Park, IL, plus it shows that there is preferential treatment for a select few. Obviously, by all the other opinion pieces out there, I am not the only one that thinks this a mess, comment as you like.

PS: I would like to really know if someone who (again) not related to a city worker got one of those 24-hour stickers!

Fu(king Rude kids stepping on my feet in Oak Park, IL

I see that there is a spike in crime around Oak Park, IL so I wonder why do parents let their kids walk around without teaching them to focus their attention upon their environment instead of their I-pad or I-phone? God, I sound like my father! But you have seen tons of these kids just walking down the street, oblivious to the world around them. I drive down the street and these kids are simply walking across the street nearly getting hit because they (and the driver) are not paying attention.

In a time when grown adults are getting beaten for their electronics on the Blue Line “L” you would think the parent of Oak Park, IL would tell their kids a thing or two about the world. There is no need to racially profile because color is not equal to the deciding if an individual is a criminal or not. Just a couple of minutes of telling these kids that they need to pay attention as they walk down the street, so that their kids do not become a statistic.

I had one kid walk straight down the street towards me, I walked a little left so did they, walked right they walked right, all the while looking down into their I-phone. Of course ,they nearly walked into me, as if they saw me for the first time, my first thought was if this was a scene out of a movie I probably just got pickpocketed! But no alas they did not even know I was there. I have seen kids walk down the street with their parents having to tell them to look up or pay attention.

I have even been stepped on by a little teenager in the Walgreens on Lake street because the little girl was skyping on her phone, I mean come on! I know it’s your status “symbol” but there is no need to: 1. Step on me, 2. Be skyping about your private conversation in a public place loudly, 3. Step on me 4. Not pay attention to your immediate environment and 5. Step on me! Now, I am all about social media but I do not want to get a beat down because I was that easy a target, or that I made the device that enticing to some nutcase.

Now yes, you should be able to walk down the street without worrying, in theory, but with the way Chicago has become crime central, who has nine lives to put that theory to the test? Parents in the area need to tell their kids to put their devices away and pay attention especially to people who are just walking down the street or are walking down the same aisle in the store as they are. I doubt this would happen because the residents, the parents of these special mini-mes are drinking the Kool-Aid Oak Park, IL is serving.

Believing that this is one of the safest places in the area and probably the world is not reality nor does it not help these young’uns to enter the real world. All this acceptance of false safety, acceptance of public display of one’s wealth or withdrawal from the rest of one’s immediate environment just leads to increased chance for their children to become a crime statistic. At the end of the day, I hope these kids learn their lesson the easy way, instead of the hard way, and quit stepping on my ass.

Am I alone seeing the kids of Oak Park, Il walking around focusing on nothing but the electronic device (I-phone, phone, I -pad, etc.,)? Have you been stepped on or ran into but these little omniscient gnomes of travel?
