Oak Park, Il related: Reviews on Google and Yelp

I have been updating the Google account for Oak Park, Il blog, specifically, google maps because you can review businesses and restaurants just like Yelp.com. Since I am already on yelp I am copying and pasting the reviews from Yelp to Google. This way I am consistent across the board with what I am saying about my experiences in Oak Park, Il and elsewhere. I am no nonsense with the reviews so I hope you enjoy them.

I am trying to keep all the accounts from Google/Blogger/Maps to WordPress to Yelp all on the same wavelength not being a major corporation it is very hard to keep all these social media sites plus Facebook together and on the same point. It is fairly simple once you get in a groove and keep all the outside noise out.

These are a basic simple guideline list on how I am doing the review thingee I am talking about:

  • log into both yelp and google
  • open up your account on yelp to reviews
  • open up google maps
  • copy the information from yelp (business name, address)
  • put it in google maps search
  • click onto the right business information on google
  • scroll down to write a review click it
  • just copy and paste the review from yelp to google

Sorry, it has some holes not my thing to create lists like this!

Taco Bell in Oak Park, Il

OMG so Oak park, IL is going to get a Taco Bell?? Awesome, for my late night tummy, but not for the historic sensibility of the area or its residents! Right on Madison Street too!

I see by the comments that the residents understand what type of impact that this restaurant chain moving into their area would mean for the village, in fact it destroys the “look” of Oak Park, Il and the chance for smaller businesses to have an opportunity to come in and grow. But what the hell, since the Mayor and Village board love selling Oak Park away and the residents allow it to happen everything is cool until it brings unwanted streams of traffic, destroys the parking structure in the neighborhood or bring unwanted violence from the people driving through Oak park, Il and wanting that late-night taco fix.

Geez, I have to go all the way to the Forest park, IL Taco bell for grub and those fools look shady in that mother but can fix a mean taco. The resistance to this new Taco bell reminds me of the resistance facing the new Taco Bell being introduced in the Pilsen area. The residents crying about “authentic flavor” but like the new location in Oak Park, IL the sites for development each have been empty for years. So instead of crying about some chain coming in and ruining the ambiance of the area residents should have worked to get smaller businesses into those spots, so Taco Bell would have no choice but to go elsewhere.

Quit crying this is the new Oak park, IL if you are going to do nothing but cry about it and vote the same idiots who ruin your peaceful little village, then don’t worry about it

Happy Valentines Day from Oak Park, Il blog

Happy Valentine’s Day from the Oak Park, IL blog! I hope you have a great day with your significant other or others, side chicks, side dudes, whatever…

Already celebrated with my boo boo on the 11th Saturday because as soon as it gets nice out the idiots in Oak Park, IL come out to play, it was nice on Sunday so I do not want to chance dealing with the stupidity of Oak Park, Il today!

I have not seen that many places have a Valentine’s Day special for couples or anything around here and that is why I, thankfully headed out of Oak Park, Il to celebrate. Had a Steak at Long Horn’s steakhouse in Berwyn, IL with a Sweet Baked Potato it was tasty and non-eventful because I went wayyyyyyy early.

Therefore, I came back home in less idiotic traffic! So have a happy day and try to have a nice time i.e.: avoid Oak Park, IL
