RE: Concordia University Chicago Employee Reviews On Indeed.com

Concordia University Chicago Employee Reviews On Indeed.com is an interesting post from one of my friends on Google Plus, regarding one of the institutions in the area and how they are presented on Indeed.com. Since it is in River Forest, Il and that village with Oak Park, IL share a community bond I decided to post it on here.

It is pretty hilarious and in the same vein of commentary that I have on my blog about Oak Park, IL. This post talks about the negative reviews of Concordia University Chicago and how their negative atmosphere can affect students and how it already affects its employees, sound familiar?

(((cough cough))) Oak Park, IL (((cough cough)))

Oak Park, IL makes one’s soul hurt.

So on Saturday I was with Sarah (the one who stepped in dog shit in a different blog post) and I wanted to take her to Q-BBQ in downtown Oak Park, IL near Lake and Harlem for her birthday. But She lamented because of the traffic, the tight area and how people are generally ignorant about stepping up upon you and in your face. She stated that: “Going through Oak park, makes my soul hurt…”

I literally laughed my at least 3 minutes. It was the funniest line I ever heard about or to describe Oak Park, IL. Anyway, we grabbed some Chinese food on the outskirts of Oak Park, IL in Berwyn, IL instead, I rather see my dollars go to an area that does something for their residents instead of trying to strong-arm them and their tax dollars to pay for some stupid shit (aka the pool).

Yes Ha! Going through Oak Park, IL or even thinking about it makes my soul hurt too, Sarah, yeah me too.

To: Oak Park, Il Trump won

Oh and Trump won, I figured that would happen with the number of Oak Park, Il residents posting signs from Hillary, especially my favorite bitchy neighbor down the street. With that kind of support there was almost some type of voodoo railed against her.

Eh I voted Johnson wonder what Sarah Silverman thinks about that? She would probably say “grow up” yeah I did and how do ya like that? I wonder how my favorite bitchy neighbor feels about her fucking parking spot now?

I don’t care to ask I just hope she gets the chance to Suck Trump’s old ding dong. There has been such a hit to the liberalism here in Oak Park, IL it is almost like they are shell shocked. It was like that Saturday Night Love with Dave Chappelle in which these idiots are still trying to do the math or figure out how they sue someone so that Hillary can be President!

Come on now, let’s be adults and move forward? Nah I rather be bitchy about it and still think change is possible but with the right person. There is still 2020 to look forward to if you are still pouting.

From Oak Park, IL to the Chicago Cubs World Series parade downtown

Damn I was downtown, at the Cubs parade I could not get any pictures though, because I was packed in with another 5 million people (Cubs fans) and soon as the double deckers came around it was like a wave of people crushing down on my ass! It was worse than the Blackhawks parades, which I left work to go see, yeah I straight told the boss and he was like “hell yeah” and I got some pictures from that but this Cubs parade? No way honey! I realized that I also could not leave my spot otherwise I would not have seen the players and the other people around me would have definitely took it! So I did not drink anything, I was so dehydrated!

Anyway like I have said beforehand there is nothing going on in Oak Park, IL with any Chicagoland sports teams, nothing, absolutely nothing. No honors, no special events, just eh, I mean they will spend 40 million on a pool that their high school swim team can only use, but other than that, it is just dry a stale sliced white bread.

<> on November 2, 2016 in Chicago, Illinois.

But how about those Cubbies? After 71 years of last going to the World Series, after 108 years of last winning a World Series, then staging a comeback after being down 3-1 in the series, then blowing that lead in Game 7, man it was a story for Hollywood! I really enjoyed going downtown and talking with the other fans and hearing how long they were fans, their experiences with family when going to games. It was truly a fun experience talking and cheering with the fans seeing the players go by. Then I had to go home and damn it was crazy you would think Rahm would have gotten his shit together and worked this out, the CTA Lines (trains) and platforms were too damn crowded. Union Station was crazy people were everywhere I tried to take the Metra home but I thought twice and took the cramped blue line, with again tons of Cubs fan.

It was a great experience even though it was chaotic and disorganized (i.e.: muddy fields of Grant Park) it was a real “high” and tons of fun it was great that people were able to come together and have a peaceful celebration. Of course, the downer was coming back to Oak Park, IL. What is the best way I can illustrate how the change of energy, the change of emotion from coming from the Cubbies World Series parade back to Oak Park, IL? Oh, it is like drinking, dancing with a bunch of great friends at a club/bar and then having some random stranger come up to you and punch you hard as they can in the gut and then they stand over you saying you deserve it. Yeah, it was a real buzzkill, to the rest of the Cub fans I hope to do this again NEXT year! YEAH!!!!! Wooooooooooooo

Proof that People in Oak Park, IL are full of themselves, assholes.

I read this article while google searching “who in the hell is stupid to love Oak Park, IL” and man did I laugh hard! Holy Shit! I had no idea the people here in Oak Park, IL are this full of shit! If someone stated that they read this article and if I knew the author or do I live in Oak Park, IL I would run the other way. Seriously.

Don’t get me wrong the author does mention some of the reasons that many people have left, like high taxes, the problems with congestion, and the various issues with parking and states that they emphasize with those who hate Oak Park because of it. But then focuses the majority of the article upon those who hate Oak Park, IL because of the betterment it represents and feel “guilty”… say what? LOL The author states “that many talked integration…” and then “walked it..” like him, (I hear amazing grace in my head right now) I glad he states that “be smug and self-righteous about our decision to live here…” Furthermore, that many of the residents are in Oak Park, Il because of shared values of integration and diversity and they are proud of it and of course there are haters to this stance.

Now, these were pieces of the article I laughed my ass off, because the majority of residents look at minorities like they do not belong in Oak Park, Il if they are in Oak Park, Il it is because of some housing mandate that guarantees that illusion but nothing more. I think this author forgets the old adage that “pride comes before the fall…” because this pride does not translate into action, it translates into the ignorance that we see every day in Oak Park, Il. I do not see people engaging minorities or being basically nice to anyone, just a sense of entitlement that is fluffed up by this pride that they helped those poor black kids.

No, hating Oak Park, IL is not feeling guilty because one is not a part of this self-delusional group that they are morally right over everyone else, the hate is about the high taxes, f-ed up traffic, crazy parking rules and costs, and upon that dealing with idiots who think it is alright to be pretentious because they helped out the unfortunate. No that is not hating what it is, is just recognizing silliness and the hypocrites around it and denying it every day of the week. If that is being “guilty” then that is what I am PROUD to be, because I feel that Oak Park, IL is full of shit and reeks of it, do not pee on me and say its raining.

Here is the hilarious article in question: http://www.oakpark.com/News/Articles/8-9-2011/Not-everyone-loves-Oak-Park/

Wondering about that Rats-Dog poop correlation in Oak Park, IL

I was watching The Channel 5 news and they had this segment about fighting rats in the city of Chicago, that is bordering Oak park, il, with dry ice instead of the conventional bait poison they usually throw down when the residents’ report see rats to 311. And being a hater of rats, yes I do not think the “Black Death” in the middle ages was a good thing, sorry, I listened up.

One of the things that caught my ear was the fact that the head of Streets and Sanitation mentioned during the press conference that if residents could clean up their dog’s poop as it would help immensely. I tried to find the video clip of the Head of Streets and Sanitation stating that on the NBC 5 website but could not find it anywhere this is close as I came:

Chicago unveils new way to get rid of rats: Dry ice

That was from WGN Chicago’s website, but anyway it got me to thinking about Oak Park, IL and how the resident dog owners hardly pick up their animal’s poop even when there are actual signs posted to remind them to do so. I wondered how my neighbors, especially in this complex can attract rats with their laziness and straight up ignorance. My management company Greenplan management does not really regulate this issue at all, only charging the renter extra for their pet, nothing in regards to picking up dog shit, which in turn can be a health hazard and also become nasty ass rat bait.

Although I agree with the argument that it is hard for the company to catch these offenders I actually had no problem doing so, because these owners are so blatant about it. Hell, I hate to give ideas for making revenue to the village of Oak Park, Il or Green plan management because they are two entities that are complete idiots but why not raise the fees in areas that have a huge rat problem due to dog shit being left by the local dog owners.

Now that would make people wake up, to the issue, hell if I was going to be punished because my neighbor is a slob I would turn that mofo in five ways from Sunday! Obviously, if this head of the Streets and Sanitation in freakin Chicago, Il knows this is a problem then finding out who the lazy ass dog owners are should be easy. You know as a former dog owner I wanted to make sure this statement was true since I did not see it in later broadcasts, but I did find a number of sites online mentioning how dog poop attracts rats.

This is one of those (blog) websites: http://doodycallsdirect.com/Waste-Harms-Communities.html

So with so many websites stating this as a fact, and not trying to find out myself due to my hatred of rats and I do not like playing with dog shit I will defer to sites like this that the Sanitation’s guy statement was dead on. I hate to say it but this type of article only inflames my hatred for the lazy ass dog owners in Oak Park, Il. Those who either leave their pet’s shit on a neighbor’s grass and don’t pick it up or they pick up the poop and do not properly dispose of it! Meaning they do not throw in the garbage can, they just drop it on the ground outside their apartment entrance in the courtyard we both share. Ugh Nasty bitches.

I hope they bring this program to Oak Park, IL because this action is a whole lot easier than trying to change the cultural mindset of the lazy ass dog owners of Oak Park, Il. Seriously.

Oak Park, IL and its dog poop

Dear diary, today was a banner day, why? Oh because I almost stepped in dog poop today! I am so glad that responsible dog owners clean up after their dogs when they poop human sized turds on the sidewalk. No, the poop was not in the public lawn, on the side of the building. No, it was not picked up with the bags provided for free on the side of the building, by a responsible dog owner. Just left there, for people to step in, and it looks like someone did! Ha!

Listen in Lakeview this is a “no no” amongst the people who live there because they know that leaving dog poop in the middle of the sidewalk like that entices rats and other vermin who like to eat dog poop. Also in Lakeview the sidewalks are narrow very much like Oak Park, IL however there is a lot more space in Oak Park, IL huge lawns and such, for dogs to walk and do their number ones and twos. So why is there poop in the middle of the sidewalk? Why did the owner leave it there? Where the hell is my building management to wash it off the sidewalk (LOL)?

Sorry the building management is useless, but I wish that people would regard their responsibility of owning a dog a little bit more seriously, dogs are like small children they need to be nurtured and taught. If this is how this particular owner is training their dog, I hate to smell how their home smells or see what it looks like. I have walked by some of the apartments in my building through the courtyard and with the windows open I could tell who owns a dog or not because I can smell it more than five feet away.

This type of behavior would have never happened or occur in my household when I was growing up. While owning multiple dogs, things in our house were clean and my pets lived past their life expectancy because we took care of them, their hygiene, as well as our own… No excuses!! Now, I just wonder how many other former dog owners, “non-animal” people or even current dog owners have seen this in Oak Park, IL and have had the same thoughts or shook their heads in disgust? Or maybe they let out a barrage of curse words as they stepped into a pile of dog crap in the little of the sidewalk?
