Oak Park, Il is like a pussy

I looked upon Oak Park as the gleaming city upon the hill when, unfortunately, after living there that image became tarnished. There is no shine to it anymore it has become a lackluster turd next to one of Chicago’s worse areas. That has been the victim of neglect, white flight, Corrupt racial politics (on both sides), economic disparities and no city\village planning whatsoever. It has over the years created an Environment that is a personal hell for some, as a personal oasis for others in where the privileged can practice their snootiness and raise their own fragile egos above the masses, and prove their intelligence to at least themselves.

Mind you I am waxing about, or reminiscing about all this in the gynos waiting room, which seems to be appertained when thinking about this village. I believe it is because like a vagina I live near an asshole or a bunch of them, and sometimes living in that area just stinks. Oh, and only when I get something in me, can I have fun while being there. Basically, yup oak park is a woman’s private area and takes about as much maintenance to deal with, either on a Daily or Monthly basis, there is always something that comes up or becomes a messy situation.

Now I lived in a couple or areas gold coast, Lakeview (boys town) before the yuppies took over, Forest park, Richton park to here. All of those times I moved it was because I needed to get closer to a job or specific cause, however Oak Park, il I moved to due to changes In the condo building I was renting in, so I jumped out of the frying pan and into fire, when I came to Oak Park, Il.

Although I bitch I will not take anything away from this experience of living here because it was a real eye opener, I mean shit what if I purchased a Condo here? I would be fucked, and honestly, I am glad the people of oak park, Il has shown their true colors and did so very quickly, it spared me the pain, headache, and bullshit that comes from owning property in Oak Park, Il and be stuck trying to unload it in a weird market.

So I am glad that Oak Park, Il has become that smelly pussy that cannot be overcome by no amount of liquor on a horny Friday night. It’s that type of cooch that one whiff and you want to run away, the least I can do is spare others the same fate as I.

Oak Park, IL related: Meijer leaving the area

Now a closing that I am upset about is the Meijer in Melrose Park, just because I do not like to go to the Walmart in Forest Park, Il (it’s fucking ghetto) or the Jewel on Roosevelt (it’s expensive) this store was a welcomed gem in this oasis of pretentiousness. Pete’s is alright but very expensive as well and the aisles are small to the point I am breathing or tasting everyone else’s breath.

The stores that are left do not step up their game and have not felt the reason to do so. Now that Meijer is leaving the area even though it is two suburbs over is was a fantastic alternative to these sloppy expensive stores in Oak Park, Il and in the nearby suburbs. God I will miss their well-lit parking lots that had clientele I was not worried would assault me in some way after shopping for groceries. That is alright I got mace, I will wear my sneakers so that I am ready for giving out some ghetto hoe beat downs.

Here is the article spelling out that bad fucking news:

Goodbye Defiant Comics

It’s a shame that as I wrote here before that one of my nephew and nieces comic book stores (Defiant Comics) was in dire straits in nearby Forest park, IL. At least I wrote about it and hoped that people in the comic book community went in to patronage this beautiful crazy place at least once as a result. Something that Forest park, il nor Oak Park, il tries to do is to actively promote the businesses in the area and I tried to at least via this blog.

Which considering Oak Park, Il champions Hemingway as a hero that they would be a village behind a good book store, a book store that leans towards younger readers, you know to encourage learning in the youngsters even if it’s in a close neighboring burb, I mean they do so for river forest why not for defiant comics in forest park, Il?

But no, alas it was defiant comics last day was on December 31st, another victim of 2016, closed forever. I will seriously miss my side discussions with big d and Brian there, but I wish that both communities would have assisted this little business thrive so this would not happen. Well, the area shitty as it is it just became a whole lot shitter, like brown solid dog turds to green dog diarrhea, if you need an example, due to their loss.

I hope the best for them in their future endeavors and to Oak Park, il/Forest Park, Il that know relies on a hole in the wall library on one side (forest park) and a gun totting wild west library on the other side (Oak Park, Il) good luck trying to stimulate your kids learning like this gem, defiant comics did, and fuck you for not recognizing its greatness and significance to the community that now sorely needs it!

P.S.: now we have one less (major) reason why not to shop in either forest park, Il or oak park, Il that is the only “silver lining” here. Take my dollars fucking elsewhere.

Vote No to 200 Oak Park, IL got it right!

I did not hear anything about the Vote 200 crap I talked about in two of my past posts so I had to search on Google for the news. OMG my vote counted!

No I don’t give a flaming shit about the Presidency I am talking about saying no to that damn pool and vote 200 shit that Oak Park, IL was trying to push down taxpaying throats. Oh it was so close, such bullshit. The Vote Yes D200 Referendum Committee should have not crossed the line with such heavy handed tactics the fliers the signs it was a bit much, I think I saw less banners in clips of Nazi Germany than the signs around Oak Park and River Forest High School for example.

The winners, the opposition hopefully will not rest and watch these sneaky, sneaky snakes on the School Board so that they are not wasting funds that can go into something more beneficial for the ENTIRE community not just a small handful of individuals. Ah I am so happy I think the next time I step in dog shit, in my building courtyard (thanks Greenplan) I will not be as upset! I am going to drink like a fish tonight!

Here is the, as always brief and less thrilling article about the “Vote No to 200” victory, in the bland Oak Leaves segment of the Chicago Tribune:

http://www.chicagotribune.com/suburbs/oak-park/news/ct-oak-oprf-pool-results-tl-1117-20161108-story.html

Vote 200

Now I have been seeing signs all around the village regarding “Vote yes on D200” or “Vote No on D220” and personally I wondered what the hell it was. So I first went to Facebook and found two Facebook pages dedicated to two separate movements to approve and construct a new pool and to fight against the construction of a new pool for Oak park, Il and River Forest, Il. Personally I did not give a shit because I do not swim, and furthermore the idea of wading in a public cesspool of chlorine-drenched, pissed filled water does not excite me.

Before I go on here are the Facebook pages for each:

Either way I hate to own property in this fucking village, and I am glad that I rent, so I have the option to leave. But on August 1st at a special meeting Oak Park, Il’s District 200 school board voted to install a pool, from what I understand without too much resident feedback. Then on August 16th they voted on a cheaper plan either way why these kids need a pool when parking and other things are major issues in the village and not every resident has kids, wasting taxpayer dollars on this is beyond me. Considering that the plan will raise taxes up to $190 per year in some way who really gives a shit.

I do have to mention that there are three plans floating around and plan B (plan dos) has a mention of a parking garage which would stoke anyone with a parking hangover from the poor city planning of Oak Park, IL. However, it does mean that even the school board acknowledges the parking issues in Oak Park, Il so why building a pool is in the best interest of the village is beyond me. In fact, there is a pending referendum coming up to be voted on, since a majority of the residents do not like any of the plans as mentioned in a recent article on the subject I wonder why anyone in the leading government bodies in Oak Park, IL is letting it get this far?

Oh I forgot this is Oak Park, Il and it majors in focusing upon the unreasonable, and the unimportant, give me a friggin referendum on the Nov 8th ballot about construction of some parking garages around the village and see what happens. To me this is just an exercise in poor judgment. Classic Oak Park, IL.

This is the article I previously mentioned regarding the parking garage/pool construction: http://www.oakpark.com/News/Articles/8-2-2016/Fight-ahead-after-D200-board-chooses-pool-plan-/

Driving in Oak Park, Il is like living in the Amityville House

Oak Park, Il is like the Amityville Horror every time I drive in, it takes only 5 minutes before I run into someone so self-absorbed that they do not care about anyone else on the road! If it isn’t the average jerkful jaywalker that calmly strolls across the street when traffic has the green light. You have the driver who is obviously on their phone texting or whatnot sitting there at the light that turned green 21 seconds ago.

When dealing with these fools who walk across south Blvd. in the middle of the street, by either throwing their children strapped into a baby carriage out there or letting their dog on an eight-foot extendable leash to basically cross the street themselves. Oak Park, lL is filled with different irritants that change you over a short matter of time after the initial exposure.

Soon you are cursing, hollering out the window, nearly running over these privileged idiots usually because of their actions, but they push you to the point you second guess wishing that you nearly did. To the point, you may hear voices to save the rest of humanity from such stupidity, to stop such idiots from breeding. Soon as you get out of this area you find yourself calming down, you are back to normal just like the Amityville movie, as soon as you cross that border the intense traffic, the idiotic rapture that is Oak Park, IL and its impact escapes your body. The stress is alleviated as you reach that border, things, seems to get better, a lot better, just like the Amityville Horror movie.

Take a drive in Oak Park, IL, after you are done cussing all the world, driving aggressively, then go home and watch the Amityville Horror you will see the correlation. This village changes you, you come in with dreams and high expectations but then Oak Park, IL perverts all of it and corrupts you in the worse way. Also, the reason that I thought to write this around the Halloween season is evident because Oak Park, IL with all its pretentiousness can be its own horror movie.

Fu(king Rude kids stepping on my feet in Oak Park, IL

I see that there is a spike in crime around Oak Park, IL so I wonder why do parents let their kids walk around without teaching them to focus their attention upon their environment instead of their I-pad or I-phone? God, I sound like my father! But you have seen tons of these kids just walking down the street, oblivious to the world around them. I drive down the street and these kids are simply walking across the street nearly getting hit because they (and the driver) are not paying attention.

In a time when grown adults are getting beaten for their electronics on the Blue Line “L” you would think the parent of Oak Park, IL would tell their kids a thing or two about the world. There is no need to racially profile because color is not equal to the deciding if an individual is a criminal or not. Just a couple of minutes of telling these kids that they need to pay attention as they walk down the street, so that their kids do not become a statistic.

I had one kid walk straight down the street towards me, I walked a little left so did they, walked right they walked right, all the while looking down into their I-phone. Of course ,they nearly walked into me, as if they saw me for the first time, my first thought was if this was a scene out of a movie I probably just got pickpocketed! But no alas they did not even know I was there. I have seen kids walk down the street with their parents having to tell them to look up or pay attention.

I have even been stepped on by a little teenager in the Walgreens on Lake street because the little girl was skyping on her phone, I mean come on! I know it’s your status “symbol” but there is no need to: 1. Step on me, 2. Be skyping about your private conversation in a public place loudly, 3. Step on me 4. Not pay attention to your immediate environment and 5. Step on me! Now, I am all about social media but I do not want to get a beat down because I was that easy a target, or that I made the device that enticing to some nutcase.

Now yes, you should be able to walk down the street without worrying, in theory, but with the way Chicago has become crime central, who has nine lives to put that theory to the test? Parents in the area need to tell their kids to put their devices away and pay attention especially to people who are just walking down the street or are walking down the same aisle in the store as they are. I doubt this would happen because the residents, the parents of these special mini-mes are drinking the Kool-Aid Oak Park, IL is serving.

Believing that this is one of the safest places in the area and probably the world is not reality nor does it not help these young’uns to enter the real world. All this acceptance of false safety, acceptance of public display of one’s wealth or withdrawal from the rest of one’s immediate environment just leads to increased chance for their children to become a crime statistic. At the end of the day, I hope these kids learn their lesson the easy way, instead of the hard way, and quit stepping on my ass.

Am I alone seeing the kids of Oak Park, Il walking around focusing on nothing but the electronic device (I-phone, phone, I -pad, etc.,)? Have you been stepped on or ran into but these little omniscient gnomes of travel?

Clowning in Oak Park, IL

Clowns, Clowns and more clowns! LOL This reminded me of this guy who use to call people “Clown freak” when they were acting crazy! So are there actually clowns that are threating to beat kids up as they go to school in Oak Park, IL? Really?

Well, I do not condone violence but it is probably the wake up these kids need to pay attention to their surroundings. Most of the time driving through Oak Park, IL these kids are just walking across the street looking at their phones, hardly paying attention to anything.

Basically, drivers have to pay attention to them, and as adults, drivers we all know that handling an automobile is hard enough. But to be responsible for a bunch of sheltered kids who can hardly walk with intently in a straight line across levels of heavy traffic makes driving even more of a challenge.

So having this alert as bad as it is, has a silver lining at least Oak Park, IL faces the reality that simple streets and cul de sacs do not make the safety net or walls to protect everyone from everyday dangers. Now the little devil sitting on my shoulder is telling me to drive around in clown gear, but I will resist that urge.

But the “creepy clown hoaxes” that are going around the country are totally different than a bunch of punk kids putting clown pictures on their social media sites and threatening to beat people up. Seriously. In other words, people are just getting scared for nothing, psychosomatic bullshit, basically, people being pussies.

This is the article which briefly discusses the clown pussies here in Oak Park, IL:

This is the article I recently posted on twitter that discusses the same event:

http://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/Suburban-School-Warns-Students-Not-to-Accept-Facebook-Friend-Requests-From-Clowns-395907211.html

PS: A Couple of years ago I met Tim Curry the actor who played Pennywise the Clown in the movie “It” by Stephen King, it was brief but he was very nice. What I am trying to say is that people can wear the clown makeup and clothes and be totally cool.

Sorry, I have not been too active on Oak Park, IL blog I have mainly been busy with school work, getting that degree yknow! I planned ahead to make sure there were enough posts to be scheduled because usually, October is a busy month for me, because of Halloween. Also, I figured the teacher would be pretty much of an idiot with some of the assignments. But hopefully, you will enjoy some of the posts that I have on here. But trust me I will be on here pretty soon. Spreading the common sense about Oak Park, IL
