Halloween decorations

I am trying to get shit together for Halloween writing articles for the blog but mostly trying to get stuff for my nephew’s birthday which is around Halloween. Therefore, everything is horror themed and since he is getting older the whole gift giving experience is getting easier because now all I have to do is give a gift card and some weird ass Halloween mask and the kid is happy as a pig in shit.

But with all the new movies that are being made via streaming services and in the movies Halloween related material hopefully should be easy to come by. Easier than cleaning out my storage area of all my Halloween shit. I could just put on some True Crime documentaries and call it a day, but I want people to leave my house and not be afraid to go out in the dark after this year’s Halloween party. Just got to see how my budget aligns up with stuff I am going to waste my money on. Having a ton of Halloween decorations makes it easier when I go into stores filled with Halloween stuff.

I have already been in Michaels at North riverside and spent more than 200 in there, the Walmart in the Orland park, il has some great stuff and I recommend go there than the location in Forest Park, IL which is just ghetto. Target is finally getting their shit out but the Target decorations are just lame as fuck. I bought my annual pumpkin LED light, but I was definitely not impressed with anything else they had to offer.

Needful Things which is on the edge of Oak Park, IL seems to have a great display and I will probably check them out. The only other viable Halloween places for decorations is online. Spirit always opens up in some empty storefront in September for the Halloween season, but they had stuff that is overpriced and is poorly made. Part of the problem with Halloween shopping is just that, there is a ton of stuff out there, but a lot of it, is overpriced, poorly made and not scary at all.

Halloween Idea #417 for Oak Park, Il “fun”

I also found for you pumpkin carving mother fucker’s stencils for each of your zodiac signs. I thought this was interesting if you are having one of those longer (time-consuming) parties with friends and wanted to do something unique or just wanted to add some flair to a tedious but traditional Halloween activity. Just have a pinterest account and a printer to get the stencils for these designs, plus the usual pumpkin carving equipment and viola!

More drinks please! If you are having a strictly adult Halloween party I recommend looking at this article that has beautiful pictures and recipes of 15 different drinks that can be Halloween related to mix and serve to your guests. Ahh, do you feel the buzz kicking in just looking at these pictures? Again, just have a pinterest account and a printer for these recipes so that you can make your own “drink book” for easy reference as you make your guests individual or just making a big ass punch for a large group of people.

This article gives you 5 easy ways to decorate your space for Halloween and entertain your guests as well, it is a very brief article and looking at the ideas listed it my just take only a few bucks to pull all of them off. Also the good thing about it is that it may engage any young ones that are in your hair while you are making the drinks I listed above. Keep the brats busy!

Halloween projects for the kids

So to keep my niece and nephew busy this Halloween (I am not sure if the older niece would partake) I found some more crafty stuff to have them do while they are in my presence so that I am not running the streets with two kids not my own! The great thing was that I got it from an email by World Market (yeah, I am one of those a-holes!).

This is the original article link right here:

https://www.worldmarket.com/blog/tag/kids-halloween/?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=wk29_halloweenshop&utm_source=wmblog&CAMP=211701&RRID=9007223

However, to make it more savor and easier to pick from I divided the projects down from the original article to their separate links to make it easier to read and print off the instructions at work, because that is what we are all going to do anyway! Hopefully you and the kids you have to entertain find something enjoyable to do and keep them off streets and occupied after a long day of trick or treating.

These are the individual project links with the descriptions as headings:

Halloween Idea #416 for Oak Park, Il “fun”

I found another cool thing for Halloween parties this is a Blood Orange cocktail great for ADULT parties (I had to put that disclaimer in there) drinks a plenty bitches! This is a great way to disguise the adult drinks from the kids you might have at your Halloween party and just strange enough to deterring that one punk ass kid from sneaking around trying get a sip.

I also found another list (on Imgur IKR?) of great horror films so if you are throwing a party on Halloween or just staying in, this list is great for entertainment ideas for that night. Most of these movies you should already know but a refresh is always good especially if you are trying to put a party and the entertainment together at the last minute.

To create that fog effect as simply as possible I found directions online through a company in the area that creates dry ice, just not that it is very crazy ass to handle, upon that you must store it properly because dry ice is just carbon dioxide gas frozen. Therefore, if you like to live and breathe storage of the product must be taken seriously if I do go through the dry ice/fog idea I will probably store it on the back porch of the apartment.
